An Abandoned Building

Menara Saidah or Saidah Tower, a 28-story building that was built in 1995 and completed in 1998, located in Cawang, Jakarta, Indonesia. This building was abandoned in 2007 because there were issues with the slope of the building and it could endanger all occupants of the building. After that, this building became so empty and abandoned.

The roman style of the Saidah Tower architecture makes this abandoned building so haunted. In fact, this building is located in the city center, next to a commuter electric train station, toll gate, and BRT bus stop.

 

5 Famous Ghost Stories in Saidah Tower

First:

In the early days of the building emptiness, a woman in red asked the security to escort her to the 14th floor to pick up what was left behind at night.

After the elevator arrived on the 14th floor, the woman disappeared in the dark room and the security heard someone typing in one of the empty offices. Before long, the sound of laughing without a figure as if approaching the security guard made him choose the emergency stairs to get out.

From above, the laughter continued to chase the frightened security guard down the stairs. Until finally when on the 3rd floor, the security guard’s hand was caught by something. It turned out that it was only a hand that was holding the security guard’s hand.

In the end, all electricity in the building was cut off by the local power company, leaving the building in complete darkness.

Strangely, on several nights it was seen that one of the rooms in the building was lit up randomly. The electrician who received the odd report came to the building many times to ensure that there was no more electricity connected to the building and that the entire building was confirmed to be empty.

Until now, there’s still a report that sometimes there is still a light coming on from one of the rooms of the building.

There were even reports that someone on the middle floor of the building was standing watching people on the opposite side of the building in the morning.

Third:

When the building was just vacated, no security guard dared to go to the basement parking lot of the building. Often heard a large crowd and people passing by in the empty basement and it is not uncommon for the security guard to come into contact with something that is not visible.

One night, someone who was challenged to be a ghost hunter in the abandoned building entered the building. But it was only on the entrace park that he was already scared to death.

A figure resembling a large bat hung from the roof and no one could see it other than him.

Fifth:

On the 3rd floor there is a canteen. After recently being vacated, some saw the coffin located in front of the canteen. No one knows how a coffin that size got there. But after checking again, the coffin disappeared.
