KRL: Kereta Rel Listrik/Commuter Line/An Indonesian Electric Train System
My brother told me that his acquaintance had taken the KRL from Tebet station to Bogor. Before 2013, there were still economy (non air-conditioning) and air-conditioning types of KRL, he and other passengers who had just finished work of course filled the station to return to their respective homes.
Not long after, the train came. But once the door opened, people already crammed in the train so no passengers from the station could enter, and none of the passengers from the train got off. Seeing that none of the passengers wanted to get on, he finally forced himself to get on and jostled the passengers on the train because he already wanted to go home badly.
Surprisingly, many passengers at the station screamed when he got on the train. But as soon as he was curious about what had happened, the train door had closed. The following stations also were like that, no passengers wanted to get on and no passengers from the train got off, making him have to jostle until the last station.
He could not see the faces of the other passengers during the trip, and they tended to be stiff. The passengers on the train seemed completely silent, which in the end he felt strange and stayed in his position until the last station.
Arriving at the last station he got off the train and was greeted by shouts of several passengers. He, who was curious about what was wrong, was told by another passenger, that he had floated the whole way. There are no trains at all.
