“Prophet Muhammad married Ayesha when Ayesha was 7 years old, was Prophet Muhammad a pedophile?”

My dear friends, how can we have a prophet who is a pedophile? What about his people later? We Muslims are always required to think about everything, but why don’t we think about this? Please remember that we are not really blind followers who only practice the religion just because following what our ancestors did. 😊

Many histories argue that Ayesha was only 7 years old when she was married to Prophet Muhammad. When examined historically by gathering all the evidence from various sources, sorting it out, and having a deeper examination, Aisyah was 17 years old at that time.

Okay, Aisyah is 17 years old. Then why did the Prophet Muhammad marry such a young girl?

My friends, it is necessary to remember that a Prophet is more able to keep his passion in deciding everything. Since the Prophet was God’s chosen man, why did God choose someone who did not pass the standard as a Prophet who in fact would be followed by thousands, millions, even billions of his people?

Ayesha is an intelligent person, she is one of the resources of the most hadiths. After all, if we have a daughter do we not want to have a son-in-law of a Prophet?

Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad was known as a very romantic husband, he always treated all his wives with the best and fairest treatment so that none of them wanted to divorce the Prophet. This is because the Prophet did not marry out of lust, he never married someone just because she was pretty or wealthy. Everything has a very basic purpose and reason, because one of the characteristics of a Prophet’s code of ethics is “intelligent” (fathanah).

So why should we have a prophet who is a pedophile? We actually really don’t want our idol to be accused of being a pedophile. 😊
