“A muslim insult me “Kafir”. Is that how humiliating the non-muslims are in the eyes of Muslims?”<\/em><\/p>\n

Oh dear, we, as good Muslims, are so sorry for what our brothers and sisters have done to you. Of course, mentioning “Kafir” to non-Muslims if the intention is to insult it is not allowed.<\/p>\n

What is “Kafir” anyway?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kafir, which was later adopted by English as “cover”, has the meaning of covering. The “Kafir” people are people who are covered, from what? Of course from the light of Islam. In fact, not all kafirs are non-Muslims, some of them come from Muslims themselves whose hearts have difficulty accepting or obeying Islam.<\/p>\n

Please note my friend, “Kafir” is just a term for those who are outside of Islam. No more. I believe that every religion has its own term for people who are not adherents of that religion. So, “Kafir” is only a term, it has nothing to do with self-respect.<\/p>\n

I am also not angry if I am a Muslim who is called something by followers of other religions because I am not part of their religion. Again, that’s just a term. No more.<\/p>\n

It is the same when we say \u201cForeigner\u201d for everyone is not belong from our country, or other terms that have absolutely no effect on the person’s position. It\u2019s just like we call the China people as \u201cChinese\u201d or an Indonesia people as \u201cIndonesian\u201d, and then terms such as \u201cAmerican\u201d, \u201cPakistani\u201d, \u201cPeruvian\u201d, etc. So why bother?<\/p>\n

Muslims also received threats from the Prophet Muhammad if they treated unbelievers unkindly without reason.<\/p>\n

Prophet Muhammad said, “Remember, whoever torments a kafir mu’ahad (kafir who does not fight against Muslims), humiliates him, burdens him above his ability, or takes something from him without his pleasure, then I am his opponent on the Day of Resurrection.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

After all, a Kafir person who lives in peace with Muslims should be treated as potential customers by muslim him\/herself.<\/p>\n

To my non-Muslim friends, if any of our Muslim brothers insult you by “Kafir” terms, tell him, “Are you even a Muslim? Is that how Islam teaches you to treat non-Muslims?”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
