Jealous of People's Success

Raise your hand if you have ever been jealous of other people’s success! Either envy in the form of wealth, position, fame, or even a love partner. I’m sure so many people are actually jealous but they prefer to hide their feelings. Although indeed, jealousy is often torturous and difficult to remove.

Don’t worry, so many people, even your closest friends, have jealousy in their respective standards. That is humane. Noteworthy is about how to control the envy, not to grow into a spiteful nature that endangers yourself and the others.

There is no need to cuss at the person who is the cause of your jealousy because it is not only bad, but it also does not solve any problems. After all, when that person really does fall, there may be a little regret in your heart and you ask yourself why you have been jealous of that person. Your life might become messier after that.

But don’t worry, if it is indeed being hit by a jealousy that is so intense that it really interferes with your days, I have a few points in the hope that it will calm you down a little.

Don’t let time be wasted

Abandoned leisure can make personal problems fill the void, of course it can be a nutrient to make your envy grow more fertile. Keep yourself busy, or at least look for positive activities that at least keep you busy.

Look for the flaw

I am not telling you to be a perfectionist. But someone will be at the next level if he can find something that is lacking in every effort. Realizing that there are some results of your work that you feel are still in need of improvement, you will find a more effective solution.

If you regularly make improvements in every aspect that you do, it is a guarantee that you will reach a point where you will no longer need to be jealous of others.

Ask your heartstrings

Sometimes jealousy makes a human eye blind for a moment. When you really feel like being the person you’re jealous of, you might start to imitate each of his activities, his movements, even anything that might conflict with your passion. If you are like this, you can be sure that you will not be able to enjoy your life.

Therefore, before you really have ambitions to blindly trace someone’s success, ask yourself again, whether that will eliminate your identity or not.

Neighboring grass is always greener

Everyone has different type of jealousies. You might already know that. There are rich people who are jealous of positions, there are CEOs who are jealous of fame, there are celebrities who are jealous of happiness, and so on. In essence, humans will always find grass that is always greener than the one in the yard of his house.

Instead of messing around with the neighbor’s grass, what if you start accepting the fact and start decorating your grass to make it more interesting and more enjoyable for many people?

Luck is real

You may be jealous of someone who has the same ability, even lower than you, but you complain if that person turns out to be more successful and more recognized by people. This is where luck has the right time to play.

But that does not mean you are not lucky, perhaps your apple is not really ripe to be picked? Do not be too hasty to get success, like, you must be a success people on age 25. Why? The answer is usually you get if one day you are truly successful. You will understand that God’s plan is really beautiful.

Cut off the cause

If you feel that the biggest factor that makes you jealous comes from social networking, don’t hesitate to break with anyone in cyberspace that can cause you to be jealous. Don’t worry, this only applies only on the internet, not in the real world.

Always seeing people who succeed in making you jealous only makes you more cornered and less excited, why not reduce your time on social media?

Make jealousy a vaccine

Hold all the curiosity that can make you find out everything that can nourish your jealousy. Keep your ignorance for this case. If it’s time for you to be sad because you are so tormented by those jealousy feelings, don’t hesitate to close your room down and cry. Confide in your Lord, perhaps this is a means to draw closer to the Creator.

You will find the time when you are tired of each of these jealousies, and become who you are as before.

Keep doin’ good. Everyone is on their line.
