Raise Your Standard By These 7 Steps
Self standards are a statement of how you measure your actions in doing something, in terms of discipline and hard work in various sectors, ranging from health, finance, discipline, friendship, to religious activities. People who have higher standards in life, in example, have a very good time management so the tardiness rate is very low.
People who have high standards being more valued by the others than people who are not. When another people around him are just doing their ordinary work, high-standard people make sure their work is really efficient and has a very high quality.
I will share at least 7 tips on how you can improve your standard of living.
List your plans before going to bed
If you want to wake up tomorrow with spirit and enthusiasm, you would need to make a list whatever you think you will do and finish tomorrow. Note that this list of your plans is not the same as to-do list. This is just a list of targets you will do as much as possible tomorrow.
The more plans are realized tomorrow, the more it can help you sleep well tonight.
Score yourself
How much score of my attitude I get today? Can it be improved? Please always do some self-introspections and evaluation yourself that will help raise your standards. For example, if today you show someone his/her way with only your fingers, maybe next time you can show someone else’s way by taking him/her to his/her destination.
This is what is done in developed countries. Not only their intelligence, ethics or morals are being perfected even though they look already so good.
So, what is the quality of your life today? Can you judge it by numbers? Will you be challenged to get better score tomorrow?
Compare with the professionals
If you want to be better yourself of course you must be willing to be compared with people who are much better. You might really be curious about how those professionals do their process so they could become someone people want. Find out what are the daily lives of these people, how do they deal with problems, manage their time, and so on.
There is always something interesting about them for you to imitate, of course their positive activities that can boost your living standard.
Don’t push yourself
Someone who wants to have an ideal body needs to exercise optimally. But some people want to get it instantly so they exercise too hard which has a negative impact on themselves in the end.
Professional athletes have time to rest, they sometimes eat fast food once in a while, they also travel, and do things without too much pressure for themselves.
Don’t kill yourself by doing too heavy activities, because a normal process is something that must be done. Just record your progress from time to time so you can measure the results.
Find a better mate
You need friends who want to be invited to make some progress with you. Because after all, being together is better than being alone. At least, your friends are willing to provide various motivations and also provide solutions when you need them.
So it’s not just friends you’re looking to laugh together.
Learn new thing
The more knowledge you have, the easier it will be for you to solve your life’s problems. Things like this can impress others and make them to start trying to learn from you.
Today knowledge can be easily accessed, via the internet for example. But make sure to only search for knowledge that suits your needs, which is likely to improve the quality of your life through trusted sources.
Avoid any procrastination
This is the ultimate tip that everyone knows. But how do you overcome the problem of procrastination which is just an alias of laziness?
Feeling lazy is a natural thing for every human being. However, minimizing the time delay is a matter of concern. If you wake up and you always wait until an hour to take a shower, try to reduce it to 30 minutes, 20 minutes, or even up to five minutes.
Record your achievements every day, and feel how the positive impact on your life. 🙂
Good luck.
